Down to the final 15, the Bandits played host to the St. Albert Steel on Friday night and came away with a 4-3 victory in a Shootout ... Posse goes to 36-6-0-6.
The 36th "W" establishes a new club record of "Most Wins - Team" in a 60 game season surpassing the 35 "W's" which was set during the 2010-2011 season and the 78th PT establishes a new record of "Most Points - Team" in a 60 game season surpassing the previous record of 77 PTS which was also set during the 2010-2011 season.

Canalta Hotels AJHL Player of the Week

Brooks Bandits forward Matt Wilkins is the Canalta Hotels AJHL Player of the Week (for the 2nd time this season) for the week of January 9th - 15th. Wilkins scored 2 goals and 8 assists in three games last week. The Bandits won all three games and Wilkins was named the Star of the Game on January 13th for his 4 point performance.
Wilkins leads the AJHL Scoring Race with 75 points and is averaging 1.6 points per game. He has recorded at least one point in 14 of the last 15 games and in 39 of 47 games for the Bandits this season.
The 20 year old from Kimberley, BC is committed to Union College of the NCAA for the 2012-2013 season.
