Matt Wilkins 55th assist has tied the Bandits Single Season Record for Assists that was set by Jamie Marshall in the 2000-2001 season.

#16 RYAN LUITEN - GAME STAR

Down to the final 15, the Bandits played host to the Olds Grizzlys on Saturday night and came away on the losing end 4-2 ... Posse goes to 36-7-0-6.

Point getters for the Bandits were Ryan Luiten 1G, Anthony Petruzzelli 1G, Jeremy Burns 1A, Cory Kloss 1A, Dylan Nowakowski 1A and Matt Wilkins 1A (for league-leading and team-leading 77th PT off 25G-52A). 

In goal was Jan Obernesser who made 24 saves in suffering the loss.

#13 ANTHONY PETRUZZELLI - GAME STAR

Down to the final 15, the Bandits played host to the St. Albert Steel on Friday night and came away with a 4-3 victory in a Shootout ... Posse goes to 36-6-0-6.
 
The 36th "W" establishes a new club record of "Most Wins - Team" in a 60 game season surpassing the 35 "W's" which was set during the 2010-2011 season and the 78th PT establishes a new record of "Most Points - Team" in a 60 game season surpassing the previous record of 77 PTS which was also set during the 2010-2011 season.

Point getters for the Bandits were Dylan Nowakowski 2A, Tanner Hicks 1G, Chris Muscoby 1G, Anthony Petruzzelli 1G, Mark Reners 1A, Colton Semenok 1A and Matt Wilkins 1A (for league-leading and team-leading 76th PT off 25G-51A). 

In goal was Michael Fredrick who made 12 saves in earning the win ... his 9th "W" in  10 starts. 

Bandits Game Star was #13 Anthony Petruzzelli.   

Brooks Bandits forward Matt Wilkins is the Canalta Hotels AJHL Player of the Week (for the 2nd time this season) for the week of January 9th - 15th. Wilkins scored 2 goals and 8 assists in three games last week. The Bandits won all three games and Wilkins was named the Star of the Game on January 13th for his 4 point performance.

Wilkins leads the AJHL Scoring Race with 75 points and is averaging 1.6 points per game. He has recorded at least one point in 14 of the last 15 games and in 39 of 47 games for the Bandits this season.

The 20 year old from Kimberley, BC is committed to Union College of the NCAA for the 2012-2013 season.
