(July 7, 2023) – Past, present and future Brooks Bandits have attended 2023 NHL Development Camps, with the total now sitting at 12.
Three members of the 2023 National Championship team (Celebrini, Fink, Malinoski) were invited to the team’s that drafted them on June 29th. Incoming recruit and Dallas Stars draft pick Sebastian Bradshaw also attended his team’s camp.
Seven Bandits alumni attended camps, with some attending their second or third NHL Camps. Columbus first-round draft pick Corson Ceulemans returned to his team’s camp for the second straight season, same with Colorado Avalanche draft pick Taylor Makar. Sean Chisholm attended his second NHL Camp, having skated in the Arizona Coyotes camp last summer. TJ Hughes attended his second camp after skating in the San Jose Sharks 2022 Development Camp. Ryan McAllister skated in two NHL Camps in 2022 with Toronto and Vegas, but the recently signed Florida Panther was invited to his team’s camp which begins Sunday.

The Bandits 2023 Exhibition Season begins Tuesday, September 5th when they host the Okotoks Oilers at the Centennial Regional Arena. The 2023-24 Regular Season begins September 15th in Drayton Valley when the Bandits begin their defence of three straight National Championships.
