BROOKS, AB (February 22, 2018) – Playoff packages for the 2018 Brooks Bandits post-season are now on sale, the team announced today.
In addition, the team announced a new promotion for the opening playoff game, currently projected for Thursday, March 8th, in which all kids under 12 years old will get in for free, and all fans will enjoy $4 drink night at the arena bar.
Playoff packages include a reserved seat for all 15 potential playoff games, and are the most cost-efficient way to attend the post-season, with cost averaging just $15 per game for adults, at $225 for the package. Senior and youth packages sell for $150 while Child packages are $70 (reduced by $5 to reflect the free opening game).
For any tickets in a package that end up being for a game that isn't played, fans will receive either a cash refund or a credit towards 2018-19 Bandits season tickets.
Single-game tickets will go on sale when dates are confirmed for the first round, and will follow the same pricing structure as last year, with adult tickets costing $15 in the first round, $16 in the second, $17 in the third, and $20 in the AJHL Final. The exception will be the opening game of the playoffs, where Child tickets for fans 11 and under will be free (though tickets will still be required for all fans who enter) and drinks will be discounted to $4 at the arena bar.
Existing season ticket holders can reserve their playoff package by logging into their account on tickets.brooksbandits.ca and selecting their “2018 Playoff Package” offer. They can also reserve at the Bandits office at the CRA, or by phone at (403) 501-0122. Ticket holders with OneTicket season passes will be able to continue to use their existing passes for playoff games, as long as they reserve their tickets by noon on Monday, March 5th. Otherwise, new tickets will be printed.
New ticket holders can purchase packages online at tickets.brooksbandits.ca, and will have their ticket ready for pickup at the first playoff game.
The Bandits will host the #7-seeded team in the South Division to open the best-of-5 first round of the AJHL playoffs, which are currently projected to begin on Thursday, March 8th and Friday, March 9th at the Centennial Regional Arena with puck drops at 7 PM. Official playoff dates will be released by the AJHL after the playoff matchup is confirmed.
