Bandit alumnus Cam Maclise re-signs with Manitoba (AHL)

BROOKS, AB (July 20, 2018) – Former Brooks Bandit forward Cam Maclise (Lacombe, AB) has re-signed a one-year contract with the Manitoba Moose of the American Hockey League (AHL), the team announced today.

Maclise, 26, will enter his second AHL season after dressing in 67 regular season and 9 playoff games with the Moose last year, recording 14 total points (7 goals, 7 assists). That followed up his professional debut season with the ECHL’s Colorado Eagles in 2016-17, when he scored 12 playoff points (5 goals, 7 assists) in 20 games en route to a league championship.

He spent three seasons with the Bandits, becoming the franchise’s all-time leading scorer with 216 points (85 goals, 131 assists) in 171 games. He was named the RBC CJHL Player of the Year in his final season in 2012-13 as he captained the Bandits to their first national championship. Subsequently he spent two years at Mount Royal University, scoring 56 points (27 goals, 29 assists) in 56 games played.
