With their record setting 19th win of the season, thevBrooks Bandits beat the Drumheller Dragons by a score of 2-0. Maddison Smiley and RJ Reed notched the goals while Captain Cam Maclise and Shane Pilling each had an assist. Michael Fredrick was in net for the shut out, stopping 23 shots from the Dragons, while the Bandits had 30 shots on net.
A large Brooks following was in attendance to see the game as the boys beat the AJHL record for longest winning streak at the start of the season.
Maddison Smiley was awarded the player of the game.
Bandits will be back in action at home this Saturday against the Fort McMurray Oil Barons, puck drop at 7:00pm.
