BROOKS, AB (December 1, 2021) – The Brooks Bandits of the Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL) have acquired 2003-born defenceman Wes Turner from the Wenatchee Wild of the British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL) in exchange for future considerations, the club announced on Wednesday.
Turner, 18, hails from Granite Bay, CA. He played his prep school with Groton School in Groton, MA, where he scored 22 points (6G, 16A) in 30 games during the 2019-20 season.
Through nine games of the 2021-22 Wild season, the 5’8, 181lb blueliner has two assists.
He’s committed to Holy Cross (Atlantic Hockey Conference, NCAA Division I).
The Bandits next game is Wednesday, December 1st as they host the Blackfalds Bulldogs at the Centennial Regional Arena. Puck drop is 6:30 pm.
