BROOKS, AB (October 18, 2017) – The Brooks Bandits of the Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL) have acquired 1998-born defenceman Carter Wolski (Sexsmith, AB) from the Grande Prairie Storm, the team announced today.
In exchange, the Bandits traded 1998-born defenceman Parker Huebner (Leduc, AB) to the Storm.
Wolski, 19, is in his third season of AJHL competition, having recorded 46 points (5 goals, 41 assists) in 125 games. This season, he dressed in two regular season games for the Storm after beginning the season with the Cedar Rapids Roughriders of the United States Hockey League (USHL).
Huebner, 19, recorded 3 assists in 10 games with the Bandits in his second season with the team this year.
Wolski is expected to make his Bandits debut on Friday night, when Brooks hosts the Canmore Eagles at the Centennial Regional Arena at 7:00 PM. Tickets are available online at tickets.brooksbandits.ca.
