Bandits acquire forward McCrory from Brockville

BROOKS, AB (July 17, 2015) — The Brooks Bandits of the Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL) have acquired 1995-born forward Dylan McCrory (Montreal, PQ) from the Brockville Braves of the Central Canada Hockey League (CCHL), the team announced today.

The transaction serves as the future considerations owed by Brockville to the Bandits in the October 29, 2014 trade that sent Neil Robinson to the Braves.

McCrory, 20, scored 38 points (21 goals, 17 assists) in 45 games in an injury-shortened rookie Junior A campaign with the Braves last season, ranking him second on the team in goals and fifth in points.

Prior to his time in Brockville, the 5’9”, 165lb forward spent two years playing for Kent School in the Founders League, part of the New England Preparatory School Athletic Council (NEPSAC). McCrory scored 45 points (20 goals, 25 assists) in 42 games over two seasons, which included a Founders League championship in 2014.

McCrory is a graduate of the Lac St-Louis Tigres minor hockey program, where he scored 31 points (14 goals, 17 assists) in 23 games in the 2010-11 season.
