Bandits acquire goaltender Marshall from Trail

BROOKS, AB (November 29, 2018) – The Brooks Bandits of the Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL) have acquired 2000-born goaltender Tanner Marshall (Kelowna, B.C.) from the Trail Smoke Eaters of the British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL) in exchange for future considerations, the team announced today.

Marshall, 18, appeared in 9 games for Trail in his second season with the team, posting a 2-4 record with a 3.22 goals against average and .884 save percentage. The year prior, he went 9-6 in 18 games, with a 4.51 goals against and .875 save percentage.

Prior to his Junior A career, Marshall played in 30 games for the Kelowna Chiefs of the Kootenay International Junior Hockey League (KIJHL), posting a .911 save percentage. He previously played for the Pursuit of Excellence Elite 15s of the Canada Sport School Hockey League (CSSHL) in Kelowna.

He is expected to join the team in time for tomorrow night's home game against the Calgary Mustangs at the Centennial Regional Arena at 7 PM. Tickets are available online at tickets.brooksbandits.ca.
