BROOKS, AB (October 8, 2019) ? The Brooks Bandits of the Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL) have acquired 2001-born defenceman Jaxsen Wyatt (Edmonton, AB) from the Spruce Grove Saints in exchange for future considerations, the team announced today.
Wyatt, 18, joins the Bandits in his second full season of Junior A, after having recorded 9 points (1 goal, 8 assists) in 49 games for Spruce Grove last year. Prior to his rookie campaign, the 5?8?, 164lb defenceman played 26 games for the Northern Alberta X-Treme of the Canadian Sport School Hockey League (CSSHL), registering 9 points (2 goals, 7 assists) and also affiliating with Spruce Grove for 7 games, scoring 2 assists.
The Bandits are back in action Wednesday for a noon School Day Game as they host the Calgary Canucks, aiming for a 9-0 start to their season.
