Bandits acquire McAllister from Prince George

Brooks, AB (January 2, 2020) – The Brooks Bandits of the Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL) have acquired 2001-born forward Ryan McAllister (London, ON) from the Prince George Spruce Kings of the British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL) in exchange for 2001-born forward Mason Reeves (Toronto, ON), the team announced on Thursday.??

McAllister recorded 14 points (5 G and 9 A) in 37 games with the Spruce Kings this season. The 5?10, 170lb forward is committed to Western Michigan (NCAA Division I). He split last season with the London Nationals and Komoka Kings of the Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League (GOJHL), scoring 37 points (11 G, 26 A) in 47 games.

Reeves suited up for 27 games this season with Brooks, tallying 8 points (1 G, 7 A) and 78 penalty minutes.?

?The Bandits have two road games this weekend, travelling to Okotoks on Friday for a showdown with the Oilers, followed by a trip to Camrose on Saturday for a date with the Kodiaks. Both games are a 7:00 PM puck drop, and can be heard live on Real Country 105.7 FM.
