Bandits acquire Randy Hernández

BROOKS, AB (November 29, 2018) – The Brooks Bandits have acquired 1999-born forward Randy Hernández (Miami, FL), the team announced today.

Hernández, 19, joins the team after starting the season with the Lincoln Stars of the United States Hockey League (USHL), where he registered 2 assists in 16 games. Last season, the 6’1”, 185lb forward dressed in 45 games for the USHL’s Sioux City Musketeers, scoring 10 points (3 goals, 7 assists) in 45 games.

Prior to that, he spent the 2015-16 and 2016-17 seasons with the United States National Team Development Program (USNTDP).

The team aims to have Hernández join the team tomorrow, prior to its home game with the Calgary Mustangs at the Centennial Regional Arena at 7 PM. Tickets are available online at tickets.brooksbandits.ca.
