Bandits? Charity Jersey Night to support Alberta Children’s Hospital on Friday

BROOKS, AB (February 19, 2019) – The Brooks Bandits’ annual Charity Jersey Night will support the Alberta Children’s Hospital Foundation this Friday night, the team announced.

The team will don special one-timed Lego-themed jerseys, similar to the Lego design of the Children’s Hospital in Calgary, with a unique kid-themed logo on the crest. Bids will be accepted throughout the game at silent auction tables on the concourse, with all profits from the jersey auction being donated to the Foundation.

Fans interested in pre-bidding for a particular player’s jersey can email their name, phone number, and bid amount (minimum $150) to bids@brooksbandits.ca before 5:00 PM on Friday, February 22nd – all online bids will be entered at the start of the auction but can be outbid by fans live at the game.

The Alberta Children’s Hospital serves thousands of children every year, including many families from the Brooks and County of Newell regions.

The team’s annual jersey auction has supported a variety of good causes in the past, from the Heart and Stroke Foundation, to the ALS Society, to the Canadian Mental Health Association.

Tickets for the game are available online at tickets.brooksbandits.ca.
