Bandits Clinch First Place in the South

On Friday night, with a 4-1 win over the Camrose Kodiaks the Bandits locked up first place in the South, which will allow them a first round bye in the playoffs.

Point getters for the night were Austin Plevy with 2G, Patrick Chore and Kyler Nachtigall with 1G each and Shane Bear, Mark Logan, Nick McCormack, Anthony Petruzzelli and Maddison Smiley with 1A each. 

Michael Fredrick stopped 32 shots in net to earn him the Game Star.

Then on Saturday night the Bandits again came away with a win, beating the Canmore Eagles 4-2.  This was the Bandits last home game of the regular season.

Point getters were Braxton Bilous, Anthony Petruzzelli and Austin Plevy with 1G-1A each, Dylan Plitt with the other goal and Shane Bear, Brandon Bruce, Madison Dunn, Nick McCormack and Maddison Smiley with 1A each.

Austin Plevy earned the Game Star.

Wednesday, February 26 at Calgary Canucks
Friday, February 28 at Canmore Eagles
