The 17-year-old contributed 12 points (7g, 5a) in 17 playoff games last season for the Kilty B’s, whose alumni include TJ Hughes.

“I would like to first start by saying thank you for the opportunity to join the Brooks Bandits. I look forward to playing for the team next season and feel I can be an asset to the Bandits,” said Phillips.

“I chose Brooks for the chance to play for one of the top teams in the AJHL and to play in a professional-like atmosphere. I’m a team player and enjoy learning new skills from new people and also being given the chance to show what I have to offer.”

We look forward to watching his growth with Hamilton for the remainder of the season.
