Bandits Earn 4 Points at Home

The Bandits had a great weekend at home, beating both the Okotoks Oilers and the Drumheller Dragons.

Friday night, the Oilers were in town and looking for a win after we had defeated them the prior weekend in OT.  Is was not to be however as the Bandits started to really play well together, defeating Okotoks 4-2.  Shots on goal were 36-27 also in favour of the Bandits.  Bandits had a great Penalty Kill as the Oilers went 0 for 5 on the Power Play.

Point getters for the night were Lodermeier, Luscombe, Plevy and Roberts with 1G each and Baughman, Bear, Bizeau, Dunn, Logan, Malott, Paskaruk and Pereira with 1A each.

Shopper's Drug Mart Player of the game was Austin Plevy.

Saturday night the Drumheller Dragons pulled into town and were defeated 6-4.  Mark Logan had an amazing game, notching his first hat trick in the AJHL.  Other point getters were Roberts 1G-1A, Baughman 3A, Dunn 2A, Plevy and Ursulak with 1G each and Bear, Lodermeier, Malott, Paskaruk and Robinson with 1A each.

Shopper's Drug Mart Player of the game was of course Mark Logan.

Josh “Dancing” Davies was in net both nights for the wins.

Next up the Bandits head to Olds to take on the Grizzlies, Tuesday, September 23.
