TORONTO, ON (November 11, 2022) – The Canadian Junior Hockey League (CJHL) announced Friday that Brooks Bandits forward Aiden Fink has been named the 1st Star of the Month for October.
In 11 games during the time frame, the 17-year-old Calgary, AB, product piled up 28 points for the defending Centennial Cup champion Bandits on 14 goals and 14 assists.
Eight of Fink’s outings were multi-point performances for the Alberta Junior Hockey League front-runners, including registering five against the Olds Grizzlys back on October 19.
He also notched a pair of hat tricks and recorded two game-winning markers aiding in Brooks posting a monthly mark of 10-0-1-0.
The University of Wisconsin (Big 10) NCAA Division I commit currently leads all AJHL skaters in goals, assists and points with 20, 28 and 48 respectively. His 12 power play tallies also pace all players.
Fink and the Bandits face the Kodiaks in Camrose on Friday, November 11 at 3:00 pm. Then, they’ll host the Canmore Eagles on Saturday, November 12 at 7:00 pm.
