Bandits had a great showcase weekend in Spruce Grove, beating both Bonnyville and Grande Prairie.
On Friday night the Bandits walked away with a 3-2 win over the Bonnyville Pontiacs. Shots on net were even at 27-27 and the boys went 2 for 9 on the Power Play.
Goals came courtesy of Jake Larson, Maddison Smiley and Jordan Wyton. Patrick Lee picked up two assists, and the game star, while rookies Shane Bear and Kyler Nachtigall each picked up one assist each.
Then on Saturday afternoon the Bandits picked up a big 4-1 win against Grande Prairie while shots on net were again even at 29-29. The team went 1 for 5 on the Power Play.
Mark Logan and Anthony Petruzzelli had one goal and one assist each, while Mason Boh and Captain Anthony Paskaruk had one goal each. Garrett Forster, Jake Larson, Patrick Lee, Kyler Nachtigall and Maddison Smiley had one assist each.
Nick McCormack won the game star.
Bandits will finally be back home this weekend with games on both Friday and Saturday night.
