Bandits launch ?Goals for Brooks Minor Hockey? program

BROOKS, AB (September 25, 2018) – The Brooks Bandits of the Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL) are pleased to announce their latest fundraising initiative with Brooks Minor Hockey, as part of an expanded partnership for the 2018-19 season.

Under the organizations’ new ‘Goals for BMH’ program, local businesses and organizations will be able to pledge $1 or more for every Bandit goal scored this season to be donated to help fund Brooks Minor Hockey programs across the region.

The Bandits will assist in marketing the program, providing recognition to participating companies at Bandit home games and online, and informing the public of the running donation total as it increases game-by-game.

Local businesses that are interested in becoming involved in the program should reach out to Lisa Dyck at Brooks Minor Hockey by emailing bmhadmin@telus.net or calling (403) 793-3968.

Together, the Bandits and BMH hope to raise a significant amount through the local business community. The new program is in addition to returning partnerships between the two organizations, including providing free tickets to Bandit games for participating teams at BMH tournaments, having Bandit players serve as guest coaches on BMH teams, and the team’s ‘Honorary Captain’ program which sees a local BMH player skate out with the team during home games at the CRA.
