It was two home games for the Bandits this weekend, when both Calgary teams were in town. Friday night the Canucks were in the building, even though it was not a well played game for the Bandits they still came out with a 2-1 win. Both goals were scored on the Power Play. Shots on goal were 29-18 for the Bandits and Michael Fredrick was in net for the win.
Scoring for Brooks were Chase Clayton and Jesse Pereira, Pereria also earned the game star. Jared Cockrell, Oliver Lester, Derek Lodermeier and Kyler Nachtigall all picked up one assist each.
Saturday was definitely a better game at the CRA, but the Bandits still lacked a bit of the jump they have had lately. Final score was 4-1 Brooks with shots on goal 28-21 also in favour of the Bandits.
Josh Davies was in net for the win, while Kyler Nachtigall earned the game star. Scoring for the Bandits were Chase Clayton, Kyler Nachtigall, Austin Plevy and Alex Roberts with 1G each, Shane Bear and Anthony Paskaruk with 2A each and Mark Logan, Jeff Malott, Jesse Pereira and Michael Winnitoy with 1A each.
The Bandits have a tough weekend ahead, they will be in Okotoks Friday night and then Drumheller on Sunday afternoon.
