Bandits Return Home with 1 Win, 1 Loss

The Bandits returned home early Sunday morning from their Northern road trip with one win and one loss.  Friday night they were in Lloydminster to take on the Bobcats, this would be the first time new player Linden Springer would return to play his former team.  The Bandits came out on top with a 3-2 win and massively outshooting the Bobcats 42-14.

Point getters were Derek Lodermeier, Mark Logan and Linden Springer with 1G each, Chase Clayton, Madison Dunn, Austin Plevy and Alex Roberts with 1A each.  Michael Fredrick was in net for the win and Lodermeier took home the game star.

On Saturday the Bandits travelled to Sherwood Park to take on the Crusaders, Brooks has not won in their building for the past 8 years and it was not to be this year either.  Despite outshooting Sherwood Park 27-21, Brooks lost 5-4.

Point getters were Linden Springer with 1G-2A (which would win him the game star), Austin Plevy with 1G-1A, Jared Cockrell and Kyler Nachtigall with 1G each and Madison Dunn, Alex Roberts and Kyle Star with 1A each.

Next up the Bandits have two HUGE games vs. the Camrose Kodiaks at home both Friday and Saturday night.  This will be the biggest battle of the season as both teams are vying for first place in the South.  It is not a weekend to be missed!!
