BROOKS, AB (June 1, 2015) — The Brooks Bandits of the Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL) have traded the rights to 1995-born forward Madison Dunn (Calgary, AB) to the Lloydminster Bobcats, the team announced today.
This completes the future considerations announced in the trade between the two teams on January 8th, 2015 that sent AJHL top defenceman Linden Springer to the Bandits in exchange for defenceman Shane Switzer and futures.
Dunn, 19, completed his third season as a Bandit this past year, and his first as team captain. In 157 career regular season games, he recorded 100 points (32 goals, 68 assists), adding 19 points (6 goals, 13 assists) in 40 career AJHL playoff games. He was also a member of the Bandits' 2013 RBC Cup national championship team.
Dunn is committed to attend and play for NCAA Division I University of Alabama-Huntsville in the 2015-16 season.
