BROOKS, AB (September 16, 2021) – The Brooks Bandits drop the puck on the 2021-22 Regular Season this weekend with a pair of home games.
Our Home Opener Weekend starts Friday, September 17 vs the Blackfalds Bulldogs, presented by McDonald’s, and will be full of entertainment for the whole family, including a pregame tailgate in the parking lot.
The fun continues on Saturday, September 18 vs the Drumheller Dragons, presented by Scotiabank, the first black third jersey game of the season.

As per Provincial Restrictions effective September 16th, all spectators attending AJHL games this weekend must wear a mask and maintain 2-metre distancing between households.
Friday’s Home Opener starts with a free tailgate party in the CRA parking lot from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm. The first 500 people will receive a free hot dog courtesy of Top Corner Concession.
Triple C Rentals is providing a bouncy castle for kids, plus there will be street hockey nets set up for kids to face off against some of the Bandits.
Make sure to arrive early so you don’t miss the introductions of the 2021-22 Bandits prior to puck drop, which is 7:00 pm vs the Blackfalds Bulldogs, which will be their first regular season game in team history.
During 1st intermission, there will be a special presentation as the Brooks Bandits will be donating $20,000 to local minor hockey associations in Brooks, Duchess and Bassano. The funds come from the National Junior A Championship Legacy Fund, details here.
