Brooks, Alberta, April 23, 2014 – The Brooks Bandits are excited to announce the addition of 1995 Forward, Jesse Pereira from Fort Erie. ON. Jesse played the last 3 seasons for his hometown Fort Erie Meteors in the GOJHL. This season he scored 22 goals and 22 assists for 44 points in 43 games and was a dominant player for the Meteors. Jesse adds skill, size and experience to the Bandits forward group.
Head Coach/GM Ryan Papaioannou – “Jesse is a skilled forward that shoots the puck very well. He will provide scoring and help our power play next season. He had a great visit to Brooks during our playoffs and quickly became a fan of our game night atmosphere. We feel he is a key addition to our roster and will be able to help pick up some of the offensive load that has graduated to college. We are really looking forward to his development in Brooks and his pursuit of an NCAA Scholarship.”
