BROOKS, AB (October 19, 2018) – The Brooks Bandits of the Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL) have signed 2000-born goaltender Josh Graziano (Williamsville, NY) to the active roster, the team announced today.

Graziano, 18, began the season with the Madison Capitols of the United States Hockey League (USHL), after spending last year with the Coulee Region Chill of the North American Hockey League (NAHL), where he posted a .910 save percentage in 16 games. He also split time with the U.S. National Team Development Program (NTDP) Under-17 team.

Prior to his junior career, Graziano played for Nichols School in Buffalo, New York, part of the Conference of Independent Schools Athletic Association (CISAA), where in his penultimate year in 2015-16 he recorded the highest save percentage in the league at .913.

Graziano is expected to join the team for its homestand this coming weekend, when the team welcomes the Calgary Mustangs on Friday night and Olds Grizzlys on Saturday night, looking to extend its two-year-high 11-game win streak.
