BROOKS, AB (October 21, 2016) – The Brooks Bandits of the Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL) have signed 1997-born forward Nicolas Vlahos (Montreal, PQ), the team announced today.
The 5’10”, 183lb forward last played for the Pembroke Lumber Kings of the Central Canada Hockey League (CCHL), registering 33 points (9 goals, 24 assists) in 55 games in 2015-16. Prior to that, Vlahos split the 2014-15 season between the Hawkesbury Hawks and Nepean Raiders of the CCHL, scoring a total of 19 points (12 goals, 7 assists) in 55 games.
In his debut Junior A season in 2013-14, Vlahos scored 15 points (11 goals, 4 assists) in 52 games for Hawkesbury, and was named the team’s Rookie of the Year.
