The Bandits had a great weekend at home, opening up their playoff run with two wins agains the Olds Grizzly’s.
Friday night showed the Bandits had no rust on them from the long wait, scoring 7 times to win the game 7-2. Michael Fredrick was in net for the win stopping 22 shots. Bandits had 38 shots on net.
Point getters for the night were Brandon Bruce 2G-1A, Austin Plevy 1G-2A, Anthony Paskaruk 3A, Shane Bear and Patrick Chore 1G-1A, Nick McCormack 2A, Anthony Petruzzelli and Alex Roberts with 1G each and Patrick Lee, Mark Logan, Maddison Smiley and Brandon Tkachuk with 1A each.

Saturday night saw a very feisty group of Grizzly’s, giving the Bandits 12 power play opportunities, where they scored twice. Final score was 5-1 Bandits and again Michael Fredrick was in net for the win. Shots on net were 36-18 in favour of the Bandits.
Point getters were Brandon Bruce, Nick McCormick and Dylan Plitt with 1G-1A each, Jake Larson and Patrick Lee with 2A, Kyler Nachtigall and Austin Plevy 1G each and Anthony Paskaruk with 1A.
