Shots on net were even at 27-27, but the Bandits still managed to beat the Dragons 5-1 Friday night. Michael Fredrick made some great saves in net for the win.
With a natural hatrick by getting the first three goals for the night, captain Cam Maclise earned the game star and Anthony Paskaruk won the Hardest Working Bandit. Other point getters for the night were Anthony Petruzzelli 3A, Taylor Makin, Anthony Paskaruk and Maddison Smiley with 2A each, Patrick Lee and Mark Reners with 1G each and Shane Pilling with 1A.
It was a great night at the CRA with around 1450 fans and a $4700 50/50 draw. The Bandits are now up 1-0 in the series. Game two will take place Saturday night at the CRA in Brooks, puck drop at 7:00pm. See you there!
