BROOKS, AB (August 12, 2017) – The Brooks Bandits of the Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL) have traded 1997-born goaltender Alex Horawski (Toronto, ON) to the Valley Wildcats of the Maritime Hockey League (MHL) in exchange for future considerations, it was announced today.
Horawski, 20, played in 16 regular season games for the Bandits last season, posting a 13-2 record. His 1.65 goals against average ranked first in the AJHL while his .917 save percentage was 8th-best in the league, as he shared the AJHL’s annual Top Team Goaltenders Award with teammate Mitch Benson (Windsor, ON).
