Bandits trade rights to Brkin to Lloydminster for futures

BROOKS, AB (January 9, 2018) – The Brooks Bandits of the Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL) have traded the rights to 1999-born goaltender Bailey Brkin (Sherwood Park, AB) to the Lloydminster Bobcats in exchange for future considerations, the team announced today.

Brkin, 18, registered a 5-30-1 record for the Mustangs last season with an .890 save percentage and 5.19 goals against average, and begin this season with the Kootenay Ice of the Western Hockey League (WHL).
