Bandits trade Vanuden to Dryden, Salem to Prince George

BROOKS, AB (October 8, 2017) – The Brooks Bandits of the Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL) have traded 1998-born forward Tyler Vanuden (Fort Frances, ON) to the Dryden Ice Dogs of the Superior International Junior Hockey League (SIJHL), and 1999-born defenceman Luc Salem (Los Angeles, CA) to the Prince George Spruce Kings of the British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL), the team announced today.

In return, the Bandits receive future considerations from both Dryden and Prince George.

Vanuden, 19, recorded 1 goal in 6 games played in his first season of Junior A competition. Salem, 18, scored 3 assists in 8 games played in his rookie campaign.

The Bandits will host the Olds Grizzlys on Monday afternoon for a special Thanksgiving Day game starting at 4:00 PM, with kids under 18 admitted free and a free Skate with the Bandits after the game as well. Tickets are available online at tickets.brooksbandits.ca.
