Brooks Bandits sign Notre Dame defenceman Luke Marshall

BROOKS, AB (January 18, 2022) – The Brooks Bandits of the Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL) are pleased to announce defenceman Luke Marshall has signed with the team for the 2022-23 season.

Marshall, 17, currently plays for the Notre Dame Hounds U18 AAA in the Saskatchewan Male AAA Hockey League (SMAAAHL), in his hometown of Wilcox, SK.

“I chose to be a Bandit because of their history of development as well as their success as a team,” said Marshall.

“They play a fast, up tempo style which I believe is suitable to my game.”

At 6’0, 165lb, Marshall has 19 points (5g, 14a) points in 24 games this season. Brown is 11th in defenceman scoring in Saskatchewan.

“Luke is a fantastic skater, dynamic with the puck and a great fit for our style of play with offensive instincts from the back end,” said Bandits Head Coach and GM, Ryan Papaioannou.

“His season has gone very well and we’re excited to work with him next year.”

The Bandits welcome Marshall and his family to Brooks.
