BROOKS, AB (September 11, 2017) – The Brooks Bandits of the Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL) are proud to announce the return of the TransCanada Community Zone for the 2017-18 regular season, providing opportunities for groups and families across the Brooks and County of Newell regions to see Bandit games.

The program, entering its second season, allows anyone to nominate an individual or group to receive free tickets in Section M of the Centennial Regional Arena for any regular season home game. The intention is to ensure that no one is prevented from experiencing high-quality junior hockey for budgetary reasons.

In 2016-17, hundreds of tickets were donated to individuals, families, and various community groups as well as sports organizations, and the Bandits hope to increase that this season as well.

Nomination forms can be picked up at the Centennial Regional Arena and can also be accessed at the Bandits website, www.brooksbandits.ca.
