BROOKS, AB (September 25, 2017) – Brooks Bandits defenceman Dennis Cesana (Providence, RI) has been named the Alberta Ford Dealers AJHL Defensive Player of the Week, the league announced today.
Cesana, 19, scored 6 points (2 goals, 4 assists) in just two games last week in Bandit wins over the Calgary Mustangs and Drumheller Dragons.
The Brooks captain currently leads all AJHL defencemen in points with his six, after being the second-highest scoring defenceman in the AJHL last season.
Cesana and the Bandits will take to the road tomorrow night to take on the Olds Grizzlys at 7:00 PM, looking for their third consecutive win.
