Incoming Bandits recruit Braden Keeble commits to Yale

BROOKS, AB (June 12, 2022) – The Brooks Bandits of the Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL) are pleased to announce incoming recruit Braden Keeble has committed to Yale University (ECAC Hockey, NCAA Division I).

Keeble, 18, currently plays for the Brandon U18 Wheat Kings, where he leads the Manitoba AAA League in scoring with 96 points (31G, 65A) in 44 games this season. During the 2022 Playoffs, he tallied 19 points (6G, 13A) in 11 games. Keeble was named First Team All-Star and MVP in the Manitoba U18 AAA League. He also won the league scoring title and registered the most assists.

The 5’10, 155lb forward hails from Brandon, MB.

“Braden is coming off a phenomenal season with the Brandon 18U squad,’ said Bandits Head Coach and GM, Ryan Papaioannou.

“His play caught the attention of a number of schools and we are excited that he has locked a commitment in prior to the start of training camp. He’s chosen a Ivy League school for obvious reasons and we look forward to his development here in Brooks before heading to Yale.”

Located in New Haven, CT, the Yale Bulldogs compete in the ECAC Hockey Conference under Head Coach Keith Allain.

The Bandits are three-time National Champions and six-time AJHL Champions, winning both in 2022.
