The Bandits had two big road games this past weekend. First up the boys were in Okotoks to take on the Oilers Friday night. It was a fantastic fast-paced game, two skilled teams going at it. Josh Davies back stopped the Bandits to a 4-2 win, stopping 19 shots on goal and picking up the game star.
Point getters were Chase Clayton 2G-1A, Austin Plevy 1G-1A, Madison Dunn 1G, Shane Bear, Mark Logan and Shane Switzer with 1A each.
Then in a Sunday afternoon match up the Bandits got off to a rough start when the Dragons scored twice very early on in the first period. Brooks battled back and scored two goals to tie the game, but an unlucky bounce off a Bandits player gave the Dragons the lead again. Final score ended up 4-3. Shots on goal were 25-17 in favour of the Bandits.
Point getters were Alex Roberts 1G-1A, which earned him the game star, Jared Cockrell and Mark Logan with 1G each, Shane Bear, Chase Clayton, Madison Dunn and Oliver Lester with 1A each.
Next up the Olds Grizzly's are in town on Wednesday night, puck drop at 7:00pm.
