Petruzzelli Comes Up Big On Road Trip

The Bandits came home with 3 out of 4 possible points from their weekend road trip.  First up the Bandits were in Lloydminster to take on the Bobcats.  The Bandits were down 1-0 heading into the third where Mark Logan notched a goal to tie up the game.  Then Anthony Petruzzelli scored a beauty short handed goal to take the win.  Other point getters for the night were Madison Dunn and Anthony Pakaruk with one assist each.  Michael Fredrick was in net for the win.

Saturday night saw the Bandits headed to Sherwood Park to play the Crusaders.  The Bandits found themselves in a very similar position as they headed into the third down 2-0.  Jordan Wyton scored an unassisted goal and then once again Anthony Petruzzelli managed a short handed goal on a pass from Anthony Paskaruk to tie up the game and force overtime.  The Crusaders came out on top during overtime, beating the Bandits 3-2.

The Bandits Power Play was shut down during both games as they went 0 for 9 on the weekend.  Anthony Petruzzelli picked up the game star both nights.

Next up the Bandits head to Calgary to take on the Canucks Friday night and then will finally be back at home Saturday night in a rematch against the Canucks.
