In what probably comes as a surprise to no one, the South Final battle is going to be between the Brooks Bandits and the Camrose Kodiaks – the top two teams in the South.
During regular season the Kodiaks had the Bandits number with Brooks winning only one out of six match ups. We expect this series to be quite “spirited” just as the games were during regular season. I'm sure we all remember the empty bench at the end of one of those spirited match ups!
As Camrose finished first in the South they will have home game advantage. The seven game series has now been announced and the dates are set as follows:
Game 1 – Friday, March 27 @ Camrose – 7:00pm
Game 2 – Saturday, March 28 @ Camrose – 7:00pm
Game 3 – Monday, March 30 @ Brooks – 7:00pm
Game 4 – Tuesday, March 31 @ Brooks – 7:00pm
Game 5 (if needed) – Friday, April 3 @ Camrose – 7:00pm
Game 6 (if needed) – Sunday, April 5 @ Brooks – 7:00pm
Game 7 (if needed) – Tuesday, April 7 @ Camrose – 7:00pm
