1999-born forward Thomas Samuelsen joins the team after a four-year career at Kimball Union Academy in Meriden, New Hampshire, part of the New England Prep School Ice Hockey Association.

The 5’11”, 190 lb centre scored 39 points (21 goals, 18 assists) in 34 games with the Wildcats this past season, capping off his career with a second consecutive New England Preparatory School Athletic Council (NEPSAC) Elite 8 championship.

In his four-year prep school career, Samuelsen recorded 88 points (44 goals, 44 assists) in 141 games.

Last February, he announced his commitment to attend and play for the University of Connecticut, in the NCAA’s Division I Hockey East conference.

He will become the fifth KUA alumnus to sign with the Bandits, joining the same year as his fellow KUA Wildcat and recent Bandit signee Andranik Armstrong (Alexandria, VA), and coming after last year’s leading scorer Conner Jean (Oakland, MI), former alternate captain Nic Hamre (Ottawa, ON), and former captain Dennis Cesana (Providence, RI).
